Speculation was growing last night that Fir Tree Player/Manager Matt Ehrlich was about to quit.
When asked what it felt like to have four points after three games Matt stormed off shouting to reporters to leave him alone and stop making up stories.
Our inside source has told us that Matt has become increasingly worried recently about the change of fortune for the club, saying that it is starting to put pressure on him for the first time in years.
Matt is quoted as saying 'Not so long ago we could have had bottom place sewn up by Christmas, if we keep on playing like this it could go right down to the wire!' |
