The Dog & Gun were formed by Kevin Seaward and Phil Dunn with help from Simon Turner and Steve Foster.
The club had a couple of seasons playing friendlies and in 1996 we joined the Maidstone & Mid Kent Sunday Football League Div 5.
After joining the league in 1996 the team had minor success. But never giving up, in 1999 (due to league restructuring) moved into Div 4 until 2005.
After a lot of thought and beers in the pub, the Dog & Gun FC became Fishermans Arms FC, and we started the first season under our new name in the Maidstone & Mid Kent Sunday Football League Div 4 for the 2005/06 Season.
The Fish finished the season rock bottom of Division 4, 13 points adrift of 9th place Wateringbury 2003, without a league win to our name. Still, things can only get better. Can't they?

A big improvement on the previous season (not hard i know) even though we still only finished 9th we were 7 points better off than the bottom side Robin Hood Blue Bell Hill.
Awarded the Division 4 Sportsmanship Award as voted for by our opponents throughout the season.

Back to the bottom again, this time only on goal difference to our old rivals Wateringbury. Having started the season so well, picking up 12 points from the first 9 games, a dreadful run of 9 straight defeats sealed our fate.
