I would like to congratulate all the boys for a superb team performance, once again you boys showed that when you put your ego-s to one side and work together as a team, no one in the league is capable of beating you.
In the first half against Bromley, everyone one was outstanding and the football you played was a joy to watch, totally out playing a team who have just won the Cup and were 12 games unbeaten.
The future of Flamstead United is still uncertain and if this was our last game together, then I wish everyone the best of luck in the future, I am certain you will all benefit which ever team you decide to play for.
There will be a presentation shortly and I hope everyone will be able to show up, I will be in touch shortly to inform everyone when and where.the presentation will be held.
As I have previously stated if we are to continue next season, there will be a signing on fee of £50 each which will go towards pitch costs and subs will be £5 per game. If anyone knows of someone who would like to sponser the club, please inform me asap, as the league and FA may withdraw our registration if league fees are not paid up on time.
As the season is now officially over, I would suggest that everyone has a break for about a month, this will give everyone time to decide if they want to continue playing together next season.
There is a strong possibility we will be promoted, so if we continue next season, I will be looking to strenghen the team, if anyone knows of reliable players, who are of a decent standard, give them my phone number, as the more players that sign up the stronger we will be.
Thanks again to everyone who has played for the team this season, especially the subs who turn up and dont always get the opportunity to play.
