It has been brought to our attention that some individuals are criticising Fleet Leisure’s style of play and general attitude during match days.

Fleet Leisure would like to make the following statement:

To our knowledge, the rules and regulations of the game do not state that you have to play a particular way or play a particular style of football. We are very proud of our organisation, commitment, desire and winning mentality.

This enthusiasm may sometimes bubble, but the spirit of the camp and the will to win is very strong. Human emotions do run high during all competitive matches at any level across world football.

We realise we aren’t the biggest club in the league, but are tremendously proud of what has been achieved already. Because of this success we won’t be changing our style, mentality or spirit, but we will always be looking to build on what has already been achieved in order to further elevate the club.

We look forward to every game, prepare extremely meticulously and professionally in order to provide a positive result.

We are no different to any other senior professional club, at the end of the match you are judged on your performance, but ultimately all teams are judged on their results.
