well this was a proper cup tie!!! squirrel did there self no harm they came at us with all they had and with us being the so called big guns they gave us a freight!!! we had a serious number of changes through suspensions and injuries oh and hangovers!!! the game started and fr the first 15 mins it was equall through out the park but we was first to strike with a through ball to danny smith who squared it for liam to tap in 1-0.. just mins after that sean slater put da baggio through with a nice pass but the linesman had his flag up!!! the game wa all level on 20 min mark when a corner came over and hit a squirrel player on the back of his head 1-1.. 5 mins later we went behind when a cross come over and gregs went to chest it to the keeper but lobbed him with it!!! 1-2 in my defence though i was pushed!! dodgy ref... ha we needed to start playing football we realised the home team was playing a 3-5-2 were we was 4-4-2 so we decided to match them and we moved the new signing steve bond into the middle were he started to pull the strings????? ha it was all level on 35 mins with a superb free kick from danny smith 2-2 half time....... a bit of a rollokin dished out again lets get our acts together.. within 10 mins of the second hald saw us go in front again from the new boy/vetran steve bond he found hiself on the ened of a good run from parky 3-2 can we keep the lead?? it was time to make 1 of our 2 subs on comes chomp(bramble) for gregs.. can we keep the lead NOPE 3-3 after a counter attack saw there winger fire home!! the game surely lookin towards extra time when the squirrel seemed to die off and allowed steve bond to go and poke home his 2nd of the game with only 1 eye!!! what a hero you are steve!!! :) 4-3 that was the nail in the coffin really for the squirrel who felt dis heartened on 80ish mins it was allover liam forests good run and un selfish cross to da baggio tap in 5-3.... we could of grabbed another 1 with the easiest chance of the game with top goal scorer liam forest at the end of this chance everyone thought its a certain goal wrongggggggg ha full time 5-3 a hard fought cup tie bring on devi arms next round well done to andy in net for a 43 year old guy he made some great stops today and bondy first game first goal and first m.o.m.... but apart from that well done we knew it was not going to be easy as no game ever is onwards as the badge says ...;0) just a little note:- we are going to put this to a team vote to see wether we can pay for it out of the funds... it is that we deffo need to send mr john wilson to anger management classes all in favour text and say i ........... :) oh and as a certain someone said the squirrel was mad they lost today???truth be told they went nuts ...... thanks and good night
