New Mill 94 'A' 4

Flockton's miserable season continued when New Mill visited the Stadium of Gloom. In a game which flowed from end to end and was littered with fouls New Mill took the lead on the half hour when Danny Mallinson fired in. Rob Lockwood pulled one back 5 mins later with a hard fought for goal, but just when Flockton thought they'd got to half time level a long through ball found James Paxman who put the Millers back in front.
The second half started when Mark Bentley squared matters after he just beat the keeper to the ball. With the game looking like a draw 3 goals in the last 10 mins rounded off the game. First Danny Mallinson struck his second - only for Brett Littlewood to hit back for Flockton with a delightful chip. James Paxman spoiled things for the home side though when he scored his second 3 mins from the end. Yet another defeat, but a better performance.
