The Club started life as the Veterans section of Bicknacre FC in 2000.Two years later we broke away from Bicknacre to form our own club. After long conversations with the Essex FA the name "FOBS" was agreed. FOBS doesn't stand for anything.

Due to lack of facilities in Bicknacre, the club led a nomadic existance, cluminating in the 2005/6 season playing nine home games on four different grounds.

In 2006/7 the club obtained the use of Hanna's Field in East Hanningfield, which led to the inclusion of the Village name in the club name.
