When Forever Bury FC was set up, it was originally just a group of Bury FC supporters gathering together to have a kick-about with the visiting team, but since then, the club has evolved to become much more than that, and it became an integral part of Forever Bury, the Bury FC Supporters Society. The main aim of the club was still to enjoy football, and bring supporters of different teams together. The chairman John Raftery came up with the club's very own mission statement:

The main aim of the Forever Bury Fans Team is to enjoy a game of football on a Saturday morning before supporting Bury football club in the afternoon.

The Forever Bury Fans Team is affiliated to the Internet Football Association.

The IFA's main aim is to foster friendly, sporting relationships between supporters of football clubs throughout Great Britain and Europe.
