Fothergill & Whittles
Pre-Season Training
Pre-season training begins for all players (Old & New) on Wednesday 4 July 2007 at Whittles Park. Training will continue twice per week (Tuesdays & Saturdays – see below) until the start of the season. I will endeavour to arrange several friendly games to enable all players to get a game before the competitive games start.
Once the season begins, training will continue at Whittles Park on a Tuesday evening until the end of September.
From 2 October, training will continue at Balderstone School on the Astro Turf pitch on Tuesday evenings, 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm. This will continue throughout the season until Easter 2008.
The following dates are provisional and may be subject to change. If you are in any doubt as to whether these dates are still valid you should contact Martin Nuttall on 07759 104526.
Next season’s teams will be selected, based on the attendance and performance during these pre-season training / coaching sessions and friendly games.
