Our year in the cubs ended without an assistant and with only six players moving forward to the Under 7s.
Numbers steadily increased from the start of the season and have topped twenty, although those who attend regularly are around the 12 to 15 mark.
Andy Dunning agreed to become assistant manager this year, filling the vacancy that had been there since the end of the previous season. Woody and Pete Stinger have helped out over this year as well.
The 2009-10 season has now drawn to a close and what a indifferent season it has been.
It started brightly with a win against Layton but the season failed to deliver on such a promising start.
The loss of players, management and coaches only added to the troubles.
Now that its pre-season we can reflect on last year and move forward into the new season with hope and optimism. The team has been rebuilt, we have coaches in place and back room staff to help run the admin side of things. We also have a parents' rep in place something that we have never had before.
All in all the team is moving forward and exciting times lie ahead.
