Match Report

Sun 05 Feb, 2012

Anton Lake (1)

Matt May (1)

We totally outclassed Packhorse in the first half . Matt scored from a thundering shot and nearly repeated this effort bringing a great save from their keeper, infact if it was not for the heroics of their keeper the game would have been over at half time. Anton scored before Packhorse got a goal back from the spot after Jason was adjudged to have fouled his opponent. The linesperson said he clearly played the ball but the ref gave it as a penalty.
After the break the manager used his subs with Matt being replaced by Rob , Rich coming on for Sam and then Mark replacing Tom but this backfired as two goals came from mistakes made by the later. Our opponents scored a fourth to confirm they will finish league runners up. Luck was not on our side again as another three points dropped after being the better team.
