Report

In the final game of the season this fixture was eventually completed after 2 previous attempts had to be postponed. In a close first half Walton Rovers took the lead after Reeve could only parry a close range effort to a Walton striker who made no mistake from 6 yards. The away side struck the post before Frost saw his 25 yard looping effort superbly tipped around the post by the keeper when it looked to be going in the top corner. It was the home teams turn to hit the woodwork when Last saw an effort strike the upright.

Framlingham continued to pay their passing game in the second half but it was the more direct approach of Walton Rovers that paid dividends and they added a further 3 goals, two rather fortunate, to make the final score 0 - 4. A disappointing end to the season for Framlingham with only a draw to show for their efforts in the last 5 games discounting the walk over against 405 Reserves. All in all it has been a good season, much better than could have been anticipated at the end of last season and with fewer injuries after Christmas it could have been even better.
