In 2001 Frampton rangers’ team was formed by Coach Stuart Spiller and his cousin Mark Spiller. They were assisted by Steve Owen and Paul May. The first three seasons were spent playing friendly games all over the place. After a while we decided to enter some tournaments and became very successful in them. When we entered the hanham minor league in 2004/2005 season we were put in the B division which we won by some distance to get promoted to the A division. Since being promoted too the top division we have finished the seasons respectively in 6th place and 5th place. Out of our sixteen players signed on this season eight of them are from our original squad which is some what of an achievement considering most other teams go all over Bristol to try and strengthen their teams every season. Our club has always had a strong policy to bring up home grown players within a 5 mile radius from our home club. We have been very fortunate with our sponsors over the years with Woodland and Bayliss, C and C tyres, Oakley green nurseries sponsoring us in the early years. Our most recent sponsors are merridith moto cross which supplied our away kit, Cameron building services who supplied our track suits and jackets and the fire basket who are supplying our new home kit this year many thanks to them all for there support. All our home games are played at the crossbow playing fields in Frampton cotterell where the team and parents enjoy excellent facilities on and of the pitch.
