Founder member of the club as well as a former player and manager, Tony returned last season at the request of Phil Morgan who didn't much fancy the idea of being both manager and secretary. Tony therefore agreed to be club secretary - a position he had for some years, held with distinction only a few seasons earlier - on the condition that he wasn't expected to attend every game. Tony at the end of the 2007-08 season handed the secretarial reigns over to Kev Davies with Tony taking over as Honorary Chairman in order to keep his name associated with the club. It is however therefore, due to family commitments, unlikely that we will see too too much of Tony at matches this season but his work behind the scenes has always been invaluable all the same and any matches he can attend can only be beneficial to the team.
