VENI,VIDI,VICI !!
Even with 4 vital players unavailable (including the midfield partnership of Woolcock & capt Stead)also top scorer Roskilly and defensive lynchpin Eustice.
The reserves went to Pendeen and came away with a comfortable victory which was made easier by a Pendeen team who had nothing in their armoury to worry the visitors at all.
From the keeper through to the forwards,Frogpool were in complete control for the whole match.
Pidgeon in goal had nothing to do in the first half and in the second as Pendeen looked to open the defence with through balls he was 'johnny on the spot' to tidy up efficiently.
The defence with both full-backs dominating so much they were at times virtually 2nd wingers and in the centre the calming influence and experience of stand-in capt Pascoe & Hill, who are starting to form what looks like potentially a formidable partnership.
The new look centre midfield of Rowse & Hay had on paper a difficult job of trying to contain two veterans with twice as much experience, but however made it look easy,by full-time the Pendeen duo knew they had been given the runaround.
Frogpool's wingers constantly had the home defence running around chasing shadows and were disciplined enough to defend when needed.
The attack was led by Taylor, making a welcome return to the forwards and after a prolonged absence the livewire Jason Dyer.
The first half ended goalless, not for the want of trying but due to Taylor,Dyer,Craze and Dine all missing gilt edged chances and Graham Hill's superb free-kick from the halfway line just missing the post and with Pendeen's only real effort of the match just shaving Pidgeon's far post.
The second half was the same until the last quarter of the match when DANNY CRAZE latched onto a through ball and nutmegged the onrushing keeper form just inside the area.
The second goal came from player-manager BARRY TAYLOR with an excellent finish which gave the home keeper no chance.
There was still time for some more drama as Craze took a smack in the nose for the cause (whether it will improve his looks or not is open to debate !)and had to be substituted with 2 mins left.
To summarise,Frogpool were polished, passed and moved better and Pendeen in all honesty wouldn't have scored if they were still playing now.

PLAYER WATCH : Full-Back Simon Blackburn

Difficult to pick a man of the match
as eveyone played so well,however
taking into account a level of
consistancy shown every week since
joining from Constantine,' Blacks '
fully deserves the accolade.
