Evolving Tigers

Frome Tigers Football Club was formed two years ago in 2005. The team evolved from Fromes Hill Football Club, with the sides splitting into two seperate teams

The Tigers were formed and became affiliated with the Herefordshire Football Association. Joining the Malvern League in the 2005/2006 season.

The 2005/2006 season was a struggle due to a very small squad, but the fighting spirit of the Tigers was there from the start.

The 2006/2007 season started with the Tigers becoming sponsored by Sweetman & sons, enabling the team to get a new home and away team kit and footballs. On the pitch it was an improvement with the teams spirit and camaraderie shining through. The Tigers reached the semi-final of the Norman Simmons Senior Cup, and finished 11th in the Malvern League.

The club hopes to improve on that in the 2007/2008 season, hoping players improve and the younger players start to blossom.
