Welcome to FRYSTON ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL CLUB!
Re-formed in 2008,the Club is Affiliated to the West Riding County FA and are Members of the Castleford and District Sunday Football Association League, where we play in the Premier Division.Last season(2012-13), in an up-n-down campaign, we finished 2nd in the League, when a poor start led to us winning 16 on-the-trot, but unfortunately we fell just short at the death. We are determined to came back stronger in the new Season and are looking for the right player's to help us do that.
Our home ground is located at Fryston Miners Welfare,Askham Road ,Ferry Fryston,Castleford,West Yorkshire and is affectionately known as "The Dell"
The Club Nickname is ''The Colliers''.
The Fryston name has a long and varied history, competing in a variety of Leagues since being Officially Formed way back in 1910, but there is evidence of a Fryston team playing in the late 1800s when Association Football began to establish itself in this part of the Country.
