TRIMSARON 0
Garden Village U14 Girls 9
Alanna Woodford (1)
Alex Davies (capt) (1)
Catherine Stuckie (2)
Charlie Phillips (4)

On another sunny Sunday morning we set off for Trimsaron. The Village started brightly and were 2-0 up after 5 minuets thanks to some good interplay and excellent finishing from Charlie. We continued to press and created some good chances which led to a further 3 goals before the break.
We started the second half brightly and played some good attacking football with the girls looking confident on the ball and playing an excellent passing game. The goals continued to come with player of the match Charlie finishing with 4 and Alana, Catherine and Alex with a penalty also getting on the scoresheet. (at least thats who I think scored I must remember to take a pen next week as my aging brain struggles with so many goals!! If I am wrong let me know in training)
Trimsaron to their credit never gave up and contested every tackle.
We will face tougher tests than this during the season and the girls need to ensure that they work harder without the ball than they do with it and close the opposition down and put pressure on quicker.
Landore away next week and lets hopr we can keep this flying start to the season going
