This is a new team for the Gilberdyke Club with about half of the players having worked together last season with another club and half being 'new blood'. Much of this summer has been about getting to know each other, understanding where we are best played and working to seek an understanding of how each of us can work to best meet the needs of the club. Sometimes this means having to play in a position which is not our first choice, but as a club we endevour to meet each and every persons ambitions and needs, and will thus work to ensure that everybody gets a chance. Training sessions conducted on Wednesday nights have shown great promise with a better rounded team developing each day.
