Managers are reminded it is their responsibility to make sure the pitch is marked before all home games. That is not to say they are the ones who must physically mark the pitch but they do need to organise the marking and confirm it has been done. Simply turning up for a home fixture and expecting it to be done is not an acceptable situation.
In order to conform with our Charter Standard status all teams need to complete their Match Day and Training Subs Sheets correctly. This includes the carrying out and recording of all pre-game/training checks shown at the top of the form. Once complete, all forms should be returned to either Dave or Carrie as soon as possible in the usual way.
Subs should be collected and returned weekly to Helen in the brown envelopes provided, and should be accompanied by a completed Subs Record Slip. Additional supplies of slips and envelopes are available on request.
In the event of payments being made to referees the referee's name, signature and amount must be recorded on the Match Day Subs Sheet (see notice 2) and also shown on the Subs Record Slip (see notice 3). Providing payment is recorded in this way, deduction from the subs to pay the referee is still acceptable.
