G+C continued their fine form with a spirited performance that yielded a point away at Great Chishill. After dominating large periods of the game G+C fell behind in the 70th minute to a well-worked goal. And much to their dismay they fell further behind 10 minutes from time when the hosts broke away to net a second goal. Thankfully for G+C they hauled themselves back into the encounter imediately when Roger Smith-Evans fired home a brilliant strike from 25 yards. The visitors equalised deep into time added on when Brightwell's deep cross decieved home custodian Downs and nestled into the far corner of the net. Much to the delight of G+C who snatched a late point, after a fantastic performance it was the very least the visitors deserved, with Assistant Manager Sorrell feeling with better finishing G+C would have tasted victory and gained the three points their excellent away performance merited.
