Glendale XI, was formed in 2005 There first year saw them promoted from the third to Second Division in the Aberdeenshire Amateur Football Association.
Glendale XI was formed from the Glendale Juvenile side that had started in 1994 as an under 9's side playing seven a side football. In 1998 the side switched to the eleven a side game and enjoyed the following years flirting between the top of the "B" League and the lower endsof the "A" league. This was considered a sucessful time for the club, as Glendale has an Ethos of not poaching players but instead coaching the players they have to become better players. A few players that have come up through this team have went on to be sucessful at a higher level, with players that started at the team playing for, Aberdeen FC, Inverness Caley FC, some are plying there trade in the USA and some have went ont o local Highland league and Junior Clubs.
It is however testiment to the team spirit at the club, that many of the players that started away back in the 90's with the team are now plying their trade with the amateur side.
Glendale XI became Division 2E Champions season 2007/2008 and were promoted into Division 1E for season 2008/2009
