A fantastic morning for football saw the Colts travel to Kirkcaldy to take on Beveridge Lions Blue.

Both teams seemed fired up today and it was the Colts who struck first, Bailey set up Matthew to settle the nerves of the visitors.

Lions tightened up at the back and remained composed despite the efforts of the Colts attack, againts the run of play Lions equalized with their midfield running unhindered through the Colts defence.

The Colts midfield continued to press but were often caught on the counter attack finding themselves out of position and racing back to help the defence, Colts needed another goal to settle down and Jamie buried a through ball from Bailey comfortably in the Lions net, but the Lions soon equalized again!!

Bailey ran rampant in the middle of the park today and was rewarded by a goal following good link up play with Neil, a surge at the other end saw Greig and James tested almost constantly by the Lions attack with goalkeeper Ross called into action on several occasions.

Colts continued to threaten the Lions goal but failed to finish with the Lions constantly on the counter attack, the Lions keeper pulled off a fantastic save from Matthew his powerful shot seen by the keeper at the last second and narrowly pushed over the bar!!

In the final few minutes Colts surged forward gain Bailey instrumental in the build up play with Craig setting up Matthew for his second goal of the day.

All in all a good game to watch end to end stuff!!
