Well here we go again.

The first league game of the season and what a start....new strips....new additions to the squad....ref had the wrong night and wasnt coming. OMG lol we did manage to source another ref in the way of Casey....so game on.

The new guys slotted in well during training but how would they cope with games?? Well i have to say very well, they all now know that we wlike to play with the ball firmly on the ground with nice passing moves what we like. We started pretty good playing some nice passing moves and had a few early chances without really troubling them. I have to say we did control the match and deserved to 1-0 up with a very good finish from Lewis Currie.

After going 1-0 up we then seemed to go up a gear and went looking for more and a amazing finish again from Lewis Currie put us 2-0 up. They got one back ffom some slack defending when nobody went for the ball and it fell for them and it was back to 2-1. We then went to play a big boot up the park and trying to create chances out of that but found that we cant do that (oh i am so glad lol) 

Half time 2-1

After a chat about getting the ball back down and playing it on the ground thinhgs started to back our way again. Then another moment of madness and they scored 2-2.

With some changes with Scott coming off and Jordan going on in the right back position and also Jack coming off and Cian going on (trialist) we decided time was right for us. We then controlled the match and created plenty of chances.

I have to be honest i did think tonight was not going to be our night but with 4 minutes to go we decided we were in control enough to push an extra body up front and try and find what would be deserved winner. Jack went back on and we moved things about and then it happened. Ball fell for Lewis McColl in the centre of midfield and a slid rule pass to Steven and he finished off excellently to send the crowd into over drive.

What a game and what a finish.

Everyone deserves a pat on the back for tonight as we played as a team and we win and loss as a team.
