What a cracking game. Against the league champions the lads put up a hugely credible performance, taking the lead, coming from behind to hold them to 2-2 at the interval and eventually putting 3 goals past them on their home pitch - something only one other team has managed to do this season.

The first goal came from a superb corner from Joe and Jack was on hand to score his 13th of the season. Our second was a superb solo effort from man of the match Dan, who rightly won the accolade for his tenacious tackling and never-say-die attitude. Whilst some of his team mates will stand still and watch the ball from only a few feet away, Dan will be straight in there ensuring the opposition never get to settle.

Our third goal came late in the second half when Joe took a free kick from 35 yeards out and judged it perfectly to put it over the keepers head.

So, we finish the league in 5th place. A very good result for their first season of 11-a-side - the whole squad should be rightly proud of their achievements.
