The result does not show the game or the effort all the players put in, a very tough physical team & game. The first half was not a great start half however against a strong team and a strong wind we went 2-0 down. After 20 mins they was given a doggy penalty which the ref said he gave because Ash was pushing a player whilst we defending against a free kick, but all she had was her hand on the players back to keep her away and allow for her to see everything in front of her. This penalty made it 3-0. They got another goal before half time, and then the game was stopped early due to a hard tackle on our Goalkeeper Ash that took her of the rest of the game. When we finally started the 2^nd half Holly stepped forward and took Ash’s place in goal, she did a great job saving a few great shots whilst being injured twice herself and she managed to still save the ball after having ball in her face from close range. On top of everything we all played a lot better, defending very well only letting in 3 more goals.
