One last thing is lads. Each year I ask for £100 contribution from each of you for this team to run. With playing in more competitions and on different pitches our costs rise and even with each one of you paying your monies in full on time we will probably just break even and that's without paying for our Presentation. So as you see our costs rise but your subs don't. I haven't raised the subs because I have a big enough nightmare getting money in from some of you already. A fiver or tenner a week makes such a difference and I am sure the majority of you spend £100 on a normal weekend anyway. So what's a fiver a week in the grand scheme of things.
Please make a conscious effort to pay up in full ASAP. I asked for half subs to be paid by end of September. Less than half of the team have done this. With fines and other things we pay out it puts a big hole in our finances to the point that we struggle to cover the refs cost each Sunday when both teams are at home.
We still owe over a £1,000 for our pitches this season and that's without £30 every time we have a referee. So as you can see things isn't cheap.
If any of you have an ideas on what we can do as a fundraiser then please post some ideas on the guestbook or ring me. We need everyone's money in soon and have at least 2 fundraisers before the seasons out so that we can pay for presentations and cup entries for next season etc.
We made the move to be a better team and test ourselves. I believe that this will happen and is happening currently. The 2nd team are better so the whole club is moving forward. We can only continue to move forward if we are all in this together. I enjoy what I do when I see you guys doing the same.........so the season starts NOW!!!!

Please can all players make some kind of contribution to subs as it is getting a bit out of hand. The club is quite a bit in debt, leaving certain people having to pay out of their own pocket! Please can players make an effort or at least speak to the manager and let him know the situation.
