ABOUT THE CLUB

NEW SITE ....http://www.clubwebsite.co.uk/brightonhovealbionsupportersclub/

Golden lions fc is a new team formed in may 2007 by a local group of player's.The team colours are yellow shirts, green shorts & socks. Away kit is all green.Golden lions is sponsored by Bathrooms at source. And we would like to take this opportunity to thank all at bathrooms at source for agreeing to sponsor the team. Without you this could not be done. And ann from the golden lion pub thank you for all your help. Not to forget all the lads that helped sort it all out!!!THANK YOU.
The team will be playin in the sportsmans senior sunday football league.Division one.
A game of Sunday Football, like most great things, is simple. It's a great leveller, a chance to prove your skills or not! and share your moment of glory with the same bunch of mates you've had since school or just met. It doesn't matter where the game's being played or how many people are watching - it's about being part of the big victories but also suffering the defeats together, because it always feels better to have been out there playing than standing on the touchline thinking 'Next week I'll dig my boots out.
So we want to celebrate the spirit that takes you through losing 8 games on the bounce and still gets you out of bed on a Sunday morning because you're not going to be the one that lets the lads down... The sense of satisfaction that comes from seeing all the players turning up at the ground like they said they would... And the walk to the bar when the 90 minutes is over and it all seems to add up. You feel like you and the boys have earned that pint.
