CHEERS OLD SUN MINES A DOUBLE!!!

It all came down to the last match of the season,whoever won would win the Premier league.Would it be the football team or would it be the glory hunters?The following 90 mins would decide.Grafham fielded a solid looking line up hoping to cope with the Karate style football of the Sun.The game began well for Grafham with the four man defence coping easily with all the Sun had up front.The Sun had opted for a five man midfield hoping to dominate that area of the pitch but fortunately for Grafham they didnt,and to be totally honest if they could have stuck 10 more men in the middle of the park they would have still failed to dominate.Wave after wave of pressure came from Grafham , one of these attacks led to the English Lionel Messi being put through on goal, he controlled the ball and put a magnificent lob over the Suns keepers head and into the back of the net 1-0.You could see how much the goal meant as the players went crazy.All that was needed now was some composure,but Grafham being Grafham they were not finnished yet. Dicky desperate to add to his goal tally smashed the ball onto the post from 20 yds.The first half then drew to a close with GFC murdering the Old Sun for 45 mins solid.Ricky taylor was replaced at halftime due to a shoulder injury and on came Paul "Sniffer"Knowles.
The second half began with a 5 min spell of pressure from the Sun,but even with the pressure they didnt look like scoring.10mins into the second half Grafham broke and a ball was put accross the face of goal for Dicky to tap home from 5yds.Theres no way our leading scorer was gonna miss that.2-0 and we were within touching distance of the League and cup double.The Sun were just a deperate side now fouling and hoofing long balls.The crowd were getting severe neck ache from this ,the referee probably missed alot of the fouls as he was busy watching Sun players hoof the ball skywards.Some more great football resulted in Sniffer putting in the third goal of the game ,this made it 3-0 and game safe.This just seemed to make the Sun go nuts Kicking,elbows,stamping etc.Two more Gfc players had to go off injured,Brett Dean(who was lucky not to be booked for walking off with Glenda Westbury still in his back pocket)and Dave Rosen.Still they were not content and continued using there rough handed tactics.Unfortunately The Wale reacted and was sent from the pitch,this was something i wasnt sure the referee new how to do but i was prooved wrong.This gave them a chance to scramble two late lucky consolation goals and cement THIRD place.The referee made his best decision of the game and blew for fulltime,Grafham F.C are double champions.Even with everything against them,they were still too good for the Sun.Lets just hope this side can stay together and win more trophies,and just a warning to anyone who wants to leave i know 3 people who left to win trophies and all they have got now is a bad attitude.I also think we owed this one to our Captain the "Greenhouse" who has been fantastic for us this year and unfortunately missed the final.
