For the first time in all of the years of doing the run we had pretty bad weather. This did not stop any of the lads determination to not only finish the run but to also finish first. All credit to Lewis Malham for completing the run as the first place finisher. And a big well done to Peter Kelsey, after weeks of preperation and a will not to get beat off any of the kids. Sadly Peter fell at the last hurdle and just could not live with the pace. I on the other hand had no preperation and nearly collapsed about 3 times but was determined to keep going with the ever improving Ben Dickinson. Ben has had a goal every year in this run and has fulfilled yet again. Sadly a few of the team missed out this year through injury and also a few had to end up walking with minor niggles and a nasty cough. But a great time had by all and hopefully a bit of money made for the team.
