Silverstone taught Linford how not to play football, and yet pick up 3 points!

4 minutes of madness both pitch and weather wise set the tone for the game. Silverstone played hoof ball, caused problems and were 3 up before Linford knew what hit them. 3 poor goals that Silverstone just didnt even have to work for. The game was done, the heavens opened, the hail, the rain and the wind battered Linford and a 4th came shortly afterwards.
Linford kept their heads and played football, created chances and kept working, silverstone did nothing of the sort, played hoof ball, played the ugly game and stifled linford.

A single goal came in the second half as Linford pushed forward.

Simple, game done!

Sooner we learnt to play ugly in this league the better, we keep our ethos of playing football on the deck with short passing, however it was clear that it wasnt going to be a day for it. Time to learn, time to move on. 

Forget the result, they dont happen often, just become smarter against teams that play zero football!
