U17s start the season in style

Congratulations to the boys on winning an 11 a-side pre-season tournament at Dukinfield.

In the group stages the boys suffered their only defeat against Nelson but in the final had the chance to avenge this loss. The boys were far more assured in the final but missed several good chances before Jason Leach eventually scored what was to be the winning goal.

With several new signings making their debut the win bodes well for the new season.
