Not much to say but I will. A great end to the season, with a resounding victory and thoroughly deserved. Its often said that to win the league you have to be consistent over  a full season and not just the odd game here and there and in truth from the football we have played this season, I do believe we were the best team.

Whilst we have lost a few on the way to being crowned champions and cup winners, I have not seen any team play football like my lads, yes some teams have battled and competed with us, but noboday has played the way we have, from the back, along the floor etc...... even commented by opposition managers on their websites.

My lads have been bvrillint this season and its them that deserve the credit, they are the ones that have won the league, not me or anyone else, they have worked hard to achieve the double.

On a final note, its been a great 8 years looking after this team. Most of the time there have been ups, a few downs, many laughs olong the way, some tears, some arguments, some great tournament wins and a fantastic trip to Holland. Whilst its the boys who have put the diplays on, I would personally like to thank all the parents for the last 8 years, again maore ups than downs, some turbulent times, but mainly a great bunch. Some have left, many have stayed with us and apart from the rare occassion, all parents have played there part in a positive way and to you I would like to offer you may gratitude.

We have seen many of the lasd step up to the North West Youth Alliance League (under 18's this season) representing Stockport Georgians and some even the first team at Georgians, so well done boys.

To win the cup and league double is a fantastic achievement and we shall celebrate over the next few weeks, with the boys and a night out with the parents.

I would once again like to reiterate my thanks to everyone, my assistants over the years Rik & Ian, Sarah for her admin support and to all the parents who have supported me and let me develop the lads, many of those over the years have never been a problem and really supportive.

Its been a great journey full of laughs and success along the way, well done to the lads and a big thank you
