Both teams started well. In the early exchanges we matched Delamere's effort and before long Abu converted a chance to put us ahead. As the half progressed we started to get the upper hand and should have extended our lead. Instead, just on half time, we failed to take a chance which then allowed Delamere to move the ball from one end of the pitch to the other and equalise. In the second half we continued to create chances but again failed to convert. Liam was unlucky to see a well struck shot rebound off the inside of a post allowing Delamere to clear. Delamere kept working hard all over the pitch and built up a 3:1 lead. With about ten minutes to go we worked the ball into the Delamere penalty area and Jamie scored with a well controlled volley. Perhaps just time to get another and share the points? Not to be. Delamere scored a fourth goal to kill the game.
M.O.M: Bob who took one for the team and had to retire with two lumps in his throat not long after coming on as a sub.
