Strikers to play 11-a side game at Grays.

Tony and Lee have after great work organised an 11-a side match to be played at Grays Athletics stadium.Yes on their pitch!The opposition will be Mildmay Youth Fc,and the game will be 35 minutes per half.
The date for this match is Sunday 20th April with Ko at 11.00Am.A buffet & drinks will follow in the bar from 12.15 onwards.More details to follow but the cost will be £5 per player.

I know it seems a long way away but Tony and Lee are already planning for next season.Tony attended the C&CYL meeting this week and as well as hearing the Cup Draw{see latest news] it was decided to move to 11 a side and probably rejoining the Blackwater & Dengie League.Big pitches,so we had better get fit and big goals so lets hope Nathan grows abit in the summer.

Following the magnificent efforts of our Chairman,matches this weekend are returning to the Green,weather permitting.Firstly thank you to all of you who sentemails to the various councillors and attended the photo shoot.BDC certainly under estimated the impact of their decision and hopefully,in the long,run this will lead to much improved facilities for the club.Making the front page of 2 newspapers has certainly put GNFC in the limelight.It is clear that we have to give more consideration to the neighbours living around the Green and i know you will all support the club with its new measures being introduced to improve this{more to follow shortly].
