Welcome to the Royal Greenwich Clippers Ladies Football Club (RGCLFC). We are a womens football club that competes in both an 11 a-side league and 5 a-side leagues, through out london and are based in Greenwich.
If you are a female who is interested in getting back into sport after watching the Olympics, there is no better place to play but in one of the locations of London 2012.
We welcome girls of all levels and have a club that suites everyone needs. If you live or work locally and want to get fit and make new friends, then make a decision and get back into sport today and be part of the Olympic legacy.
We are a friendly team who enjoy playing football both competitively and for fun.
We have entered the Greater London Women Football League for the third season running in 2012/2013, which starts in September 2012, in the Division Two South.
Our club is based on three main values- Competitive, Fun and Social
Our objective is to get females back into football. All abilities welcome as it is the taking part that counts.
Training is on astro turf at:
Greenwich Millennium Primary School Pitch
50 John Harrison Way
When: 7.30pm to 9pm Tuesdays
Tube: North Greenwich
Buses from tube station: 422,132,108,472,486,129 (2 min bus ride, get off at 1st stop, or 10 minute walk
The session will involve a meet & greet with Greenwich Clippers Management team, coach and players, a 10 minute warm up and stretches session, drill training and ball work and finally a training 30 minute game at the end, with the all important cool down afterwards.
