The final group match of the season saw the under 8's take on Loughborough Dynamo away. It was a hard fought game between two well matched teams which saw Groby open the scoring after 5 minutes with a goal from Josh.Ten minutes later saw an eaqualiser from Loughborough agaknst the run of play. Shortly before half time Loughborough tokk the lead with an unfirtunate Groby own goal. The second half saw Sam Collins finding the net after a good string of passes. It looked like the result was going to be a fair draw until loughborough sccored another goal with about five minutes left.

Manager Daz said that it was a good performance from the team for the last game of the season
