After a summer of uncertainty and many departures, the club got back on track during the 2006/07 season after the construction of changing and shower facilities following grants and sponsorship deals with various organisations.
Due to the necessary rebuilding of the team, results on the field were very inconsistent, although the players who came in, added to the existing squad, have to be thanked for sticking to the task and turning up each week. With special praise going to manager Chris Perry who had the unenviable job of organising, at times, a very disjointed outfit.
The on field high point of the season probably came in a mini run which saw the team beat some top sides, including the likes of Gulval and Robartes. Also, the emergence of young players such as Alex Turner, who scooped the player of the year award will no doubt provide a platform for the team to continue building in the future.
