Hackney FC Manager Janettee Hynes attended the London Sports Awards at the Mayor's iconic City Hall offices on 8 march to pick up the Team of the Year Award for 2007.
London Sports Forum for Disabled People (LSF) is a registered charity providing opportunities for participation in sport and physical activity to assist disabled people in Greater London. LSF promote inclusion of people with learning disability, physical impairments, visual impairments, deaf people and people with multiple impairments.

This match looked anything but a friendly. Both teams competed brilliantly and the football was hard fought and fast paced with some great bits of individual skill. Hackney eventually pulled away and held on to win 11-3.

Hackney triumphed at the first ever World Mental Health Day 5-a-side tournament in 2005. Hackney fielded two sides in the competition and were unfortunate not to see both teams reach the final. Hackney B eventually beat Bracton Lions in the final.
Hackney retained the World Mental Health Day 5-a-side Tournament with a consummate display of controlled Football at leyton Orient's DScore Football complex.
