ABOUT THE CLUB

Hadley Green was the dream of three old friends, Matt Bawcutt, Jim Peacock and Jeremy Summers. They had all decided that they wanted to play in a team together and run the way they think a good football team should be run. So, in Season 2003/2004 Hadley Green Was born.

We joined the Mercury Waltham League in Division 6 and enjoyed a successful first season finishing third, winning promotion to Division 5 and picking up the Fair Play Award along the way. Hadley struggled in Division 5 the following season and finished 9th, mainly due to poor availability, as we lost Jim who had to retire due to injury and Jeremy unable to commit to as many games as he had wished.
