2006/2007 was a poor Season for Hainault Athletic Fc.
3 weeks before the Season started we lost 10 Players, we lost Goalkeeper Steve Crisp, Sol Atuaene, Peter Nyame, Mike Agyemang, Paul Shaw, Steve Appiah and the Classy Enok Boateng to Sarvic Fc.
We also lost Joe Curtis to Vernon Fc, and kevin Gilley decided to leave the Club, and Captain Andy Curran decided to hang his boots up, so we knew it was going to be a hard Season especially moving into the top Division.
We managed to ad some decent players to the Squad, Parris Williams was a quality centre Forward, he finished topscorer this year, scoring 13 goals in 16 games, also Chris Hamilton signed, Marko Kasic joined, he was superb in Midfield, Graham Weinberg returned, we also added a quality keeper in Steve Moniz, Chris Blohm and Will Blohm also joined the club, pete and lee pinchus also joined, more signings came towards the end of the Season in Alex Gipps Nils and Ben Clark.
Me Terry and Scoob were looking to just enjoy the Season, we made it to the quarter final of the Godbold cup, we also managed to make it to the Williams trophy semi final, were we lost to the eventual winners Leabridge Rangers 3.1.
we finished 2nd from bottom in the 1st Division but we still had 1 game to play, if we would've played that game we could've finished 3rd.
Me Terry and Scoop would like to thank all the Players, for turning up up each week, also for sticking with us through some hard times before and during the Season.
We hope to have a much better Season next Year.
