1st Team Season Summary
After a mixed start to the 2009/10 season, new management duo Chris Michaelas and Garry Kent steered The Blues to a decent climax taking maximum points from Seven Acres and Bexlians, to name but a few, and find the real potential of the squad.
Since Christmas, other notable games against Fleetdown, Bexley Borough and Forest Hill were also games which could of seen maximum points taken. The circumstances however, not in our favour, need to be turned in the fortune of The Blues this coming season in order to progress into title contenders, where they belong.
Form and stats since Christmas would have secured a 3rd placed finish, with a fantastic strike rate and solid defensive record to boast. A few keys signings and the 2010/2011 season will be a big year!
Paul Skopila secured the golden boot with 14 league goals, Alex Carter got both hands on the coverted Players Player of the Year in his very first season, and Club Captain Stephen Vanstone scooped the Manager's Player of the Year trophy.
