Halstead United prepared for the up and coming 2011/12 season with 2 friendlies that yielded one win and one loss.
While a competitive Halstead United XI side lost 1-0 to Belvedere at Biggin Hill Recreation Ground.
Halstead United played their first friendly away to Metrogas FC, and in a closely fought contest they were finally edged out 2-0 by their strong Kent County Division One opposition.
The following week Halstead United travelled to Greatness Park to face Kent County Division Two East side Sevenoaks. An encouraging performance brought about a very good 3-0 win with goals from Scott Howard, Mark Abbott and Chris Powell.
