Harchester United FC.

Orignally the club were formed as Chequers FC, we were named after a small pub in darenth.

However due to lack of support from the players to the Pub, and subsequently the removal of funds we found ourseleves in a situation where we had no money to continue as a football club.

We were somwhat rescued with the formation of ourseleves and another local team called Doverston Castle. With both teams merging there were obvoiusly going to be fallouts, and shortly after the merge, the vast majority of players form Thje original Doverston went off to join another local side. we ran quite successfully for a number of years. however were unfortunatley left in that same situation again with the club Treasurer quitting the club and taking the funds with him.

Once again we were without funds and a team, however by determined players and a Dream Team style intervention from an unknown consortium of 1no Lee Squires we reformed as Harchester United.

We Have Been HUFC For 4 years now and have been very successfull, despite the fact that we have not had a propoer manager, but all credit to the Managers who have taken the Reigns and taken this club to where we are today.

We went thorugh a three year period where we gained promotion each year, as well as a few reasonable cup runs.
