Harold Hill Community Football Project was formed in May 2001 to provide the community an outlet, initially for children that are interested in football regardless of ability. Information regarding the club can be found on these pages, and if you are interested in knowing more, please contact either Ricky Shelvey on 07815769123 or Jim Melhuish on 07725709014
Community Football
There are children that never get the opportunity to play football because it has not been identified that they show ability. Our "Football For All' scheme allows these children to receive coaching and play in games.
Harold Hill Youth
Harold Hill Youth was established to provide competitive football for our members. Our aim is to provide the best facilities, coaching and equipment that we can afford. By achieving this we try to keep the subscriptions to a minimum. To help fund our project we organise social events throughout the year
Director of Football - Ricky Shelvey
Our community group has expanded nicely, with several boys being picked for the competitive teams. The coming season sees us start with 14 competitive teams both in the Echo and Chelmsford Leagues. During last season we held a F.A. Coaching Qualification for all our coaches. We will continue to improve the standard of coaching so the players can develop their skills. Overall, in the short period, we have come a long way and are rapidly gaining a good reputation for playing fantastic football in a sporting manner. We hope to continue growing the way we have and will do so if we keep receiving the support from parents and children which we have received this year. Thanks to everyone for their support.
Club Football Kits
You will be issued with a club football kit for your use during the season. If this is lost or ruined then it must be replaced at your own cost. At the end of the season or when you leave the club, you must return the kit. The kit remains the property of the club. Training kit - Yours to keep.
Football
Your first point of contact is the coach/manager, then the Director of Football.
Point Of Contact
Each team will have a parent contact who will issue information regarding social and organisation matters. If there are any other matters you need to speak to the relevant committee member.
