Biography

Russell is a long serving Clubman & respected Chairman.

In his playing days was an old fashioned centre half who headed & kicked everything in his way. Started playing for the Club in his mid twenties, had a brief spell with Barkingside in his late thirties but returned to Club & continued to play up to his seventith birthday. Has also previously been 1st Team Manager, where he regularly argues with referees, opposition, players and supporters alike !
After retiring from playing due to injury, he took up several posts on the committee and has been an instrumental figure in the clubs recent success and develop.
