Albion looked to get back to winning ways after some dreadful performances with victory over DPM Carpet, who featured some familiar faces with Ryan Dale, Adrian hall and ally Squire lining up for the hosts.

Albion dominated the game from the 1st whistle, going ahead when Todd nodded in at the front post. Christie then broke his scoring duck finishing emphatically into the bottom corner from just inside the box. Albion continued to control the game in the first half without scoring.

The 2nd half continued much the same as the 1st with DPM struggling to get out of their own half. Veteran centre back Paul Watson made it 3 volleying in from a free kick. Albion then went 4-0 up from another free kick when ex Albion star Dale scuffed a clearence into his own net. The lunatic winger, who gave away the previous 2 free kicks from which Albion scored then made it a hattrick when he stupidly fouled again and Watson scored another backheel to make it 5-0.

Super sub Neil Baines completed the rout with a poacher effort in the closing minutes. An excellent team performance from the lads who put the previous weeks of disappointment behind them with a very comfortable win.
