blackhall breathless 0

a tough game for supporters this against a team who battle hard always in blackhall breathless.

the first half saw a lot of long ball football from both sides, with not a lot of chances being created for either team, blackhall had a few good crosses whizzed in across gary riches' goalmouth but no-one got on the end of them, towards the end of the first half, the first bit of quality in the game nearly produced an opener for supporters, when james parkinson turned his marker neatly in a packed 18 yard box and curled one just inside the post but the blackhall keeper saved well and tipped it round the post. 0-0 half time

with the elements not really in supporters favour they began playing some good football and the first fluent move of the match produced the first goal for supporters, bryn horwood was sent racing down the line by parkinson and whipped in a great cross which chris birbeck smashed home from 18 yards for a goal of the season contender to put supporters ahead. and with 5 mins remaining supporters wrapped the game up when parkinson got to the bye line and picked out leading scorer kev dixon who nodded home at the back post to give supporters a well earned 3 points
