HARTLEPOOL WELFARE ATHLETIC CLUB FC
After 16 years Welfare finally claimed there first ever league title with a 4-2 victory over Corporation, congratulations to all the players and staff on what has been a great season.
Hartlepool Welfare Athletic where formed around 14 years ago under the name Clavering Park by Darren Hutchinson eventually changing to Welfare Athletic around 5 seasons ago.
The team started in the second divison of the Mike Goughs Sunday League but soon rose through the ranks to spend a few seasons in the top flight.
We managed only the second trophy in our history last season lifting the Barry Hogan cup but as we have kept the whole squad together from that campaign plus 6 new signings there is no reason we cannot challenge for the title this time around.
We are competing in the following competitions this season
Crest First Division
Barry Hogan Cup
John Dowson Cup
Stephen Tierney Cup
Durham County Cup
Team Colours
Home :- Blue Shirts
Blue Shorts
Blue Socks
Away :- Black and white stripes
Black Shorts
Black Socks
