Haverhill Rovers Ladies season is over after they were beaten 6-2 by Woodbridge Ladies and relegated from the premier division After a long hard season for Rovers losing players throughout the season and there Manager they now face the prospect of football in division one next season
Things didn't go to plan for Haverhill when they found themselves 3-0 in the first 20minutes. Haverhill went close through Katie Shorter, Sarah Gee and Rachel Mann who hit the post but Woodbridge quick attacking caught out Haverhill and Woodbridge made it 4-0. A through ball to Sarah Gee left her one on one with the keeper who she lobed from 25 yards to make the score 4-1

Half time changes were needed and a change of formation worked for Haverhill who scored a second through Katie shorter after a Kelly Taylor free kick with only 5 minutes into the second half. Haverhill Continued to pressurised Woodbridge and a Kelly Taylor Free kick was unlucky not to hit the target, Rachel Mann should have scored had it not been for a fine save by the Woodbridge Keeper, With Haverhill Attacking in numbers Woodbridge broke through the defence and scored there 6th of the game and the final scored ended 6-2 to Woodbridge

With Results going against Haverhill it now means they are relegated to Division one and will look to bounce back next season.

Haverhill's Final gave is against Royston Ladies on the 11th May at Home
